  1. Hi, I have registered for Tarmac CLEC and see on the website that I can camp beside the sailing club. I was wondering if I could bring my caravan and if there is a phone number of someone in the know that I could ring and have a chat with about camping there. Would appreciate if someone could get back to me when you get a chance. Thanks a million – looking forward to the day.

    • That will be ok, on the ‘Grassy Knoll’

  2. ah thats great – my caravan parking and reversing skills are not wonderful though. Is it a big area that I could just drive in and around to face back out towards the gate?

    • the grassy knoll has it’s own car wash if you drive too close to the edge !!

      • I found a B & B instead – might be the safer option!! – thanks for your time anyway

  3. Hi I am looking to enter the Sports ‘Tarmac’ CLEC this year
I just wanted to double check, is it is ok to use a racer/road bike?
Also, is there just 1 distance for the individual event?
    Thanks
    James

    • Yes James,
It’s all on goodish country roads, road bike recommended
just one distance for this event
